Our Chiropractic Care

Adjustments and joint mobilization aim to restore proper motion of restricted joints throughout the body. Benefits of chiropractic adjustments include:

  • Decreased pain and inflammation
  • Decreased muscle tension
  • Increased mobility and range of motion
  • Enhanced body awareness, coordination, balance, joint stability, and muscle recruitment

Manual therapy is for treatment of the soft tissues of the body such as muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, and connective tissue. We use a variety of different techniques including myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM).

  • Reduce muscle tension and spasm
  • Restore tissues’ ability to glide properly
  • Increase circulation and speed healing

Inserting a very thin filament needle into taut bands of muscle or symptomatic tissue to promote healing and pain relief

  • Release tightly bound muscles
  • Stimulate blood flow and tissue repair
  • Decrease inflammation

We look beyond the site of pain to identify potential impairments in other areas of the body that may contribute to your symptoms. “Regional interdependence” is a concept that a problem or dysfunction in one part of the body can cause pain or symptoms in an entirely different area of the body. In some cases, the site of symptoms and the site of the cause may even seem completely unrelated.

Movement is a key component of achieving optimal health. Together we will create an individualized rehab plan designed to meet your specific needs along your journey from pain and injury to recovery and peak performance. Our plan will reinforce new movement patterns, correct muscle imbalances, increase resiliency, and empower you to play an active role in your care.
